Critical Reflection

From the start of this effective communication module, my goal during the course of the module was to be able to learn the proper ways of communication for formal events and being able to improve my sentence structuring. During this course, I was being tasked to write on various type of assignments that will be able to help me to improve my writing skills and also a presentation that will help me in presenting myself to a bigger audience.

Firstly, in regards to my presentation skills, I felt that I have improved in my presentation skills as I have gained and learnt the right skills of presentation. This has led me to be more confidence during my presentation. One example was the final presentation for our technical report. I was able to execute the skills that I had learnt during the course and being able to apply and to show that this had led to an improvement in me.

Secondly, as we were being tasked with various writing assignments. My sentence structure and language used have improved. Even though the improvements were not as huge as what I have expected for myself, I have gained new knowledge through peer reviews and gained constructive feedbacks from Ms Gan.

Lastly, I definitely have benefitted and gain many new knowledge that have been imparted from Ms Gan. Who had gave lots of constructive feedbacks and knowledge that will help us for our writings. I will definitely be working constantly to improve on my language as this will help me in my improving report writing skills. As in the engineering field, report writing is an essential skill needed in the field of work.
